Committed to your strength, confidence, and resilience.

Whether you’re recovering from an injury, managing chronic pain, navigating pregnancy or postpartum changes, or simply looking to move and feel better in your body, I’m here to help.

About Me

Abby

I’m Abby McCormack, the licensed doctor of physical therapy and owner of Salmon Run Physical Therapy. After 12 years of treating patients on the Eastside, I opened this practice to create a more patient-focused experience, where individuals feel heard, supported, and empowered in their recovery.

I believe physical therapy should be personal, not rushed or one-size-fits-all. At Salmon Run PT, every session is one-on-one with me and tailored to your goals, body, and lifestyle.

Whether you’re recovering from an injury, managing chronic pain, or looking to stay active and resilient, I focus on identifying the root cause of your symptoms and building a clear plan to help you move forward with confidence.

Services

My approach combines hands-on care, targeted exercise, and education so you can move better now and stay active long-term. Manual techniques include soft tissue massage, joint mobilizations, and instrument-assisted massage, and are done to reduce pain, improve mobility, and increase function. Targeted exercises are prescribed on an individual basis to increase flexibility, strength, coordination, and balance. I am passionate about helping people return to the activities they enjoy, feeling stronger and more confident in their bodies.

Some examples of orthopedic conditions that I treat are, but not limited to: joint pain, arthritis/degenerative disease, postural dysfunction, soft tissue injuries such as sprains or strains, chronic pain, headaches, thoracic outlet syndrome, sciatica, herniated discs, tendonitis, bursitis, and some pre-and post-surgical rehabilitation.

In addition to treating orthopedic conditions, I offer specialized care in women’s pelvic floor physical therapy. I work with patients experiencing pelvic pain, pregnancy and postpartum concerns, bladder or bowel issues, and other conditions that can significantly impact daily life—but are often left untreated. My goal is to provide a supportive, comfortable environment where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout their care.

Pricing & Cancellation Policy

  • Salmon Run Physical Therapy is a cash-based, out-of-network physical therapy practice. This means we do not contract directly with insurance companies and payment is due at the time of service.

  • Operating outside of insurance allows us to provide longer, one-on-one appointments with a doctor of physical therapy and highly individualized care without restrictions on visit length, treatment approach, or number of sessions. Your care is guided by your goals and needs—not by an insurance constraihnts. We also offer maintenance and wellness visits if you just want a check-in.

  • For patients with out-of-network benefits, we can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. Coverage varies by plan, and reimbursement is determined by your insurer.

  • At this time, we are unable to provide services to clients who are enrolled in Medicare or are eligible to receive Medicare benefits. If you would be interested in wellness and preventative care, please reach out with your information for future services offered.

  • If you have questions about pricing or how out-of-network benefits work, please don’t hesitate to ask.

  • Our rates for an appointment are $260 for initial evaluation and all follow up visits.

  • We require a minimum of 24 hours notice if you cannot make it to your scheduled appointment. This means 24 hours prior to the time of your scheduled appointment. For example, if you appointment is scheduled for Thursday at 4pm, we expect to receive notice of cancellation before 4pm on Wednesday.

  • If you are unable to provide advanced notice, there will be a nominal fee of $75 per missed session.

What can I expect on my first visit?

3

Your first session serves as establishing rapport and a baseline for your care. We will talk for part of the session, getting to know you and your symptoms and asking some further questions. The next part of the exam will be a physical examination of your affected area(s) which can vary based on your complaints which can include muscle testing, biomechanical or movement screening, patient education, initial treatment, as well as collaborating on your goals. If coming in for pelvic health, we may do an internal exam if it is warranted and if you consent.  It can always be done at a later visit.

Sessions can typically range from 55-75 minutes in length.

What is a superbill and how does this work?

4

A superbill is an itemized receipt that lists the therapy services a person has received, which they can file with their insurance to seek reimbursement. It includes diagnosis codes, procedure codes, provider information, and session dates. Clients are responsible for submitting this directly to their insurance company and be aware of their policy’s out-of-network benefits.

Do you accept Medicare?

5

At this time, we are unable to provide services to clients who are enrolled in Medicare or are eligible to receive Medicare benefits. If you would be interested in wellness and preventative care, please reach out with your information for future services offered.
